Sorger is a traditional, family-owned Styrian business.
Located in Frauental in western Styria, it was founded in 1907 by Georg
Sorger as a small butcher’s shop with an adjacent restaurant.

Today, the business is going from strength to strength in its fourth generation of family ownership. To allow the business to develop to its current level, we made major investments in state-of-the-art production technology.

But although decades pass and generations come and go, the one thing that has never changed is our dedication to the product itself. And it is this commitment that gives Sorger products their melt-in-the-mouth quality. Throughout our history, we have dedicated ourselves tirelessly to the excellence of our products. Thus the traditional, secret recipes that the business has used since its founding are still being developed and refined, and we continually add new and innovative products to our range.
